I welcome 2022 seeing every moment as a new beginning.
2021 was an incredible year of growth and discovery for me. I started the year with tremendous guilt. A voice in me kept saying “You need to do more”. Overwhelmed with everything I wanted to achieve, I forgot to create space for myself to operate in my optimal state.
Grateful for my mindfulness practice, which reminded me of my purpose as a coach and people developer – to bring forth more integral growth in the people I serve. With all the uncertainties in the world, life is emerging and unfolding every moment, asking us to meet it with compassion, courage and wisdom. By slowing down and listening to this call, I was able to bask in curiosity as I navigated through what I wanted to create.
Below I share some of my key reflections for the past year. Love to hear from you too: What were your discoveries in 2021? What were some milestones to celebrate?
Investing in my personal growth
My 2021 was about learning to let myself “just be” – not constantly judging myself for not being enough or not doing enough. Instead, I practiced slowing down to listen to my heart – for inspiration, wisdom, and peace to come through me.
These times of uncertainty challenged me to model being courageous, to share authentically what I am experiencing, good or bad. Cherish every moment and experience as learning – allow things to unfold instead of pushing with pure force.
This poem of the wild geese inspired me to look at life and my personal growth wholeheartedly:
You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
…
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air, are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting –
over and over announcing your place in the family of things.

Grateful for my precious family, mentors and friends for being the stable forces in my life. They have inspired me to evolve my work through uncertainty and to realize that tranquility is a choice, so is fear and anxiety. The entire world around us may be in turmoil, it is important we find peace from within.
I love this quote:
“When we are mindful, deeply in touch with the present moment, our understanding of what is going on deepens, and we begin to be filled with acceptance, joy, peace and love.”
– Thich Nhat Hanh
Achieving professional growth
2021 was about going deeper with my transformative coaching and leadership development programs supporting the growth of clients. I am passionate about bringing sustainable change in leaders, to listen to the core of who they are, and to build resilience and courage for them to lead from within.
I am deeply indebted to incredible teachers for inspiring my work: Dr. Brené Brown at The Dare To Lead™, Wendy Palmer at Leadership Embodiment, and James Flaherty at New Ventures West Integral Coaching. Honored to witness the courageous work of our clients which continuously inspire me to keep going.
Celebrating my transformative coaching and leadership development work
With the global uncertainties and volatility, we need courageous leaders to spearhead business transformation. I believe that true, sustainable changes come from within. Last year I was able to achieve a milestone I have long dreamed of: deepening my integral coaching.
At the core of each coaching engagement, I incorporate my integral growth model, supporting clients to build long term, lasting shifts by maturing their integrated wellness from within: their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing. This unique approach supports clients to realize their full capacity, and empower others through authentic and courageous leadership.

As a certified practitioner of Wendy Palmer and her Leadership Embodiment work, I was proud to find a way to bring the work into my coaching. Grateful to witness real shifts in my coachees when they synchronize their body, minds and heart.
Looking forward to 2022
In 2022, my mission is to keep listening courageously to my heart, bring forth hope and integration in myself and others. Continue living my passion to empower clients to be the leaders they want to be: to stand up, be seen for who they are, and inspire others with their courage and authenticity.
Exciting news to share!
For a few months now, something has been pulling at me. When I look at photos of my beautiful grandkids in the US, especially the newborn granddaughter whom I have not had the chance to hold yet; my heart is yearning to be with my family.
I am excited to share with you my decision to transit back to the US closer to my family in March of 2022.
I love my coaching work in Hong Kong for the past 9 years. It brings me such joy to witness the transformation of leaders I coached.
I plan to continue my work serving leaders internationally.
Thanks to advance technology, I will be able to reach across different timezones, while being based in Seattle, USA. I will still be coaching globally while enjoying my family.
I will also challenge myself to write my book, “From Wounds to Wonders: Integrated Wellness for Compassionate Leadership”, to deepen my own healing and learning so I can better support others. As I explore my coaching successes and challenges, I hope to write this book for professional leaders who aspire to deepen their inner work and bring their full self to leadership. I will share an integrated framework that I put together from over 10 years of coaching, for leaders to unlock their wounds, live in their integrated wellness, and be the authentic and compassionate leader they aspire to be.
I will show you a step-by-step application of the framework through real-life examples and stories from myself and my coachees. Stay tuned and be the first to know when my book is released: subscribe to my newsletter now.
